Introduction
This privacy policy sets out how Troupa Limited ("Troupa Ltd"/"We"/"Us") uses and protects any information that you give Tiara when you engage with us and / or use the Troupa software-as-a-service application via the troupa.com website.

Over-arching principles
Should you provide certain personally identifiable information when engaging with us or using Troupa, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
This policy is effective from 1st January 2018.
Troupa Ltd may change this policy from time to time. Updates to this policy will be published to this page. Where we have contact details for you, we will notify you about any changes.

Use of the troupa.com website (excluding the Troupa software)
Cookies and Tracking
We use anonymous cookies and 3rd party tracking software (e.g., Google Analytics) to provide insights in to the usage of the website and to enable us to improve our service. These analytics do not enable us to identify you personally.
If you contact us
If you make an enquiry (whether via the website, email or by telephone), we will only use your information ("Contact Details") for the purposes of responding to your enquiry. Contact Details are stored securely.
If you choose to opt-in to our email marketing list, we will use your contact details to send you information from time to time. You may opt-out of receiving these notifications at any time by following the unsubscribe link included in the email.
We will never share your Contact Details with any third party.
If you become a client
If you become a client, we will only use your information ("Administrative Details") for the purposes of providing our services to you and administering your account. Information is stored securely. We do not store any payment details (e.g. credit card numbers.)
From time to time, we will contact you either in respect of your account or with general updates and news about the service.
If you choose to opt-in to our email marketing list, we will use your Contact Details to send you information from time to time. You may opt-out of receiving these marketing notifications at any time by following the unsubscribe link included in the email.
We will never share your Administrative Details with any third party except as may be required in order to provide the service (e.g. payment processing.) Any 3rd party used by us, has been vetted by us with regards to their data protection policy and we will only use 3 rd parties that have a commensurate or higher level of data protection in place.
If you cease to be a client
Upon termination of the contract, we will:
- Provide you with a full backup of any of your data that you may have entered in to the system in a machine readable format
- Securely destroy any of the data you may have entered in to the system
- Retain your Administrative Details for the purposes of record-keeping and closing your account until such time as it is no longer required to be kept; at which point it will be destroyed
- If you have previously opted-in to our marketing mailings, you may continue to receive these; however, you may opt-out at any point by following the unsubscribe link in the email
Use of the Troupa software
Your Data
The information that you enter into Troupa, including user names and email addresses, belongs to you and is controlled by you. We do not collect or process this data on your behalf or in any way for our own purposes.
We will only view the data that you have entered into Troupa if it's necessary to do so in the course of system maintenance or troubleshooting.
Feature Usage
We collect anonymous information about how the key features of Troupa are being used. This enables us to improve the product.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. We use Microsoft's Azure platform to host your data. Azure provides a secure environment with many features which help protect your data. Backups are kept for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 35 days, depending on the service level you select when subscribing to Troupa.
Cookies
Troupa uses cookies to store your login credentials on your PC so that you don't have to log in every time you start a Troupa session.
You can turn off cookies.
We do not use cookies to track your usage of Troupa.
Third Parties
We work with trusted partners to develop and deliver the Troupa service. They are obliged to comply with this policy.
